Shai is the founder of The PEGroup, where he leverages his legal background, recruitment expertise, and financial insight to shape the company’s evolution. With a long-standing presence in government contracts, The PEGroup has expanded into SAAS delivery, continuing to push boundaries in payroll services and beyond. His career journey took him from law to recruitment, then finance, before ultimately landing in tech, all driven by his belief in technology’s power to shape the future. At The PEGroup, Shai is all about progress: pushing for 1% daily growth and building a culture where innovation and excellence thrive.
His leadership philosophy is simple: balance human expertise with tech advancements, especially in navigating the ever-changing BPO and payroll landscape. Shai’s work is rooted in continual learning, constantly adapting to new challenges and refining strategies to keep the company ahead.
Outside of work, Shai lives by the mantra, “Have fun while getting work done,” with a focus on value creation. When he’s not working, he’s tackling hobbies from helicopter lessons to playing rugby, hockey, and diving into new foods and travel experiences. Shai has many icons he looks up but none that stand out more than Nelson Mandela who he met in his youth, Shai’s inspired by activists and those who have helped shape the world we live in for the better and hopes his work will leave a lasting, positive impact on everyone personally and professionally.
